About Lakes Rocks 2010 !

An all day event designed to celebrate the local music scene.  Lakes Rocks will showcase a wide variety of local bands on the Lakes College campus at Lillyhall, with good food and cold beer in attendance!

Free Parking and on the 30/31 bus route from Whitehaven, Workington & Maryport

By car

Lakes College main campus is at Lillyhall on the junction of the A595 and the A597 (Harrington turning). There is easy access and plenty of free parking.

By bus

Buses stop right outside the front door of the college and there are regular direct services (30/31) from Workington, Whitehaven & Maryport (every 15 minutes) or Egremont, Cleator Moor & Frizington (every 30 minutes).

By train

Your best bet is a train to either Workington or Whitehaven and then pick up a 30 or 31 bus that will bring you direct to the college.  Journey time from either town is about 15 minutes.
